Well, everyone has been kind enough not to mention that my post obviously should have been titled "hitting coach?" I asked what a "hitting coach" does as I was not sure. I feel like we have always had some outstanding hitters. Other than the obvious transfer Schreck, this line-up doesn't have any. Can we hit enough the next few weeks to win some games? And then, what about the future?
As for "between the ears" and "body language"----the term VandyBoys came to be because there was something special about being a Vanderbilt baseball player, Football players are not VandyBoys; basketball players are not VandyBoys. Every time a player puts on that uniform, he should pause for a second and think about what it means to be a VandyBoy !!
