Why has it taken more than half the season to get these guys to play this way?
Things that standout over the past few games (with a few exceptions):
More consistent all out effort all around (just general flying around)
Defense has ramped up fairly significantly.
Riley is just a different player.
I get that Luke and Nolan were big losses. I'm not even saying we should have won more games, I'm just talking about general effort level and confidence level. We largely (again with a few exceptions) moped through the first half of the season. Non-existent defense. Riley disappearing acts.
