There was a lot of debate when I started the MTSU is a must win thread, and good points were made on both sides of the argument. But it was a must win, and they did win, and we all breathed a collective sigh of relief.
Now comes part two, getting a conference win. Normally I would not say a road SEC game is a must win, it just so happens that I believe South Carolina is the worst team in the SEC, therefore our best opportunity for a conference win, just happens to be a road game.
South Carolina has an awful offense, makes ours look decent. Going against our defense SHOULD be like hitting a brick wall for them. Hopefully it plays out like that.
As bad as their offense is, their defense may be worse. Having two weeks to heal up and work out some kinks, I expect OCAL to have a solid plan to move the ball against them.
My one fear in this game, the only way I think South Carolina wins, is turnovers. Jmac and our special teams needs to play a clean game. No mistakes +our defense I feel we win.
What's everyone thinking as we head into our most winnable conference game?
