Was able to catch up Banks last night, he is planning to visit Vanderbilt at the beginning of March. He is also talking to Boston College and will set up a visit with them sometime soon.
Banks says he's mainly been in contact with new CB coach Terrence Brown, this is what he had to say about Brown and his interest in Vanderbilt:
"He seems like a really cool guy. Coming from Washington, they've produced top tier corners in recent years. Vanderbilt is SEC football, best conference in football and it's a great school."
Started for Rice his junior season and had 37 tackles. He suffered a season ending groin injury at the start of last season.
