Well it's that time of year. Filled with hope, joy, and delight.

It's the time of year when you watch parts of several high school games on a Saturday afternoon and you record the Montana versus North Dakota State game to watch late in the evening (great game BTW).

I'm once again hopeful for the VU season. I find myself focused on just how bad our offense was last year. . .which gives me hope that with a proven professional running the offense and athletic defense led by Mason that we are on the verge of a turnaround. Not a meteoric turnaround, but a return to some level of respectability that will be a foundation for the future. We have the tools on this team to win. I have no doubt in my mind. Now we just have to get the job done.

I'm reminded of Chris Marve's pregame speech to the team against Auburn after he graduated. As a fan we've loved this team for many years. As Marve said. . "now love me back, and get this W!"
