So one thing, and this is from someone who gripped and complained about the Lea hire the second he was hired, is we are still recovering from the Mason era. We've had injuries and our depth is abysmal because Mason left us with blah talent. Lea inherited a program with zero energy it was absolutely dead.
I still think we should fire Lea and being in a much more charismatic and innovative coach, but I don't think you can really compare Lea with Mason. Mason was given a gift and broke it. Lea was even something broken.
