Austin Martin continued to haul in the postseason accolades on Wednesday as the Jacksonville, Fla., product was named Second-Team Freshman All-American by Baseball America.

The utility player, who started 58 games at six different positions, was previously tabbed a freshman All-American by Collegiate Baseball, the National Collegiate Baseball Writers Association (NCBWA) and Perfect Game.

Martin led Vandy with 20 multi-hit games including six three-hit performances while recording at least one hit in 47 of his 58 outings. His 22 stolen bases paced the SEC and were the most by a Commodore freshman since Xavier Turner had as many in 2013.

In league action, the freshman recorded a team-best .308 batting average and .388 on-base percentage in 30 starts. The Trinity Christian Academy product continued his hot streak into the NCAA Tournament, hitting a team-leading .385 (10-for-26).

The Commodores, who are expected to return eight of nine everyday starters for the 2019 season, capped the year with their seventh trip to the NCAA Super Regionals in the last nine seasons before falling one win shy of the College World Series
