Great respect for you. I meet you several times when I doing a lot of work with Michael Hazel. I learned being so close to the program and getting to know the coaches the challenges and obstacles they face. Not only does no other SEC program face them but I am not sure any other power five program does. It’s almost as if Vanderbilt goes out of its way to set athletics, especially football, up for failure. I know that you know that there are forces at Vanderbilt who are in position of influence that are anti athletics. Franklin was taking all this on in a huge way and making progress. It is obvious to me that with the last two hires Vanderbilt has made it a point to not hire someone who might challenge the Vanderbilt way again.
I think it’s great you are trying to educate fans on the reality of Vanderbilt. It’s a losing battle. I was screaming from the the top of my lungs as soon as Franklin left with much less credibility than you. I have always gotten the same push back you get. I learned a long time ago you can’t cure stupid.
