A lot of guys are still getting their eligibility results for this upcoming basketball season
- DeAndre Williams from Memphis was declined another season. He was already declined but he appealed again and that failed. He was class of 2016 out of HS, which is wild. He would have been their best player if eligible which helps, though they still have transfers Jordan Brown and Jahvon Quinerly ( I’m pretty sure both played in the McDonald’s game with Darius Garland).

-Jalen Cook from LSU got his eligibility denied but is appealing. He’s a really good guard who would have been LSU’s best player. There’s no reason he should be eligible as he’s a 4th year player and this is his second transfer. We’re probably better than LSU regardless, but without him Jordan Wright might be LSU’s best or 2nd best player. I like Jordan but he can’t be that type of guy on a good team. We play LSU twice so this could be huge

-Brandon Murray and Moussa Cisse from Ole Miss have not received any news yet. Murray would probably be the 2nd best player on OM, Cisse a top 6 guy. No reason either should get waivers, as Murray is a 3rd year player on his 2nd transfer, Cisse a 4th year guy on his 2nd transfer. Without those two, OM is definitely worse than us. Not a bottom feeder but we’ve got a better overall team

-Then there’s A&M big man Julius Marble who’s away from the team while “undergoing university process”. No idea what that means, but if he can’t play, A&M still has a great backcourt, but their other frontcourt guys are very ordinary so this could really help
