Coaches have selected the 2019-20 All-Region 2A Boys and Girls Basketball Teams.
Earning Player of the Year honors on the boys side was junior point guard Jason Nelson of John Marshall. Nelson averaged 17.3 points, 5.9 assists, 3.8 rebounds and 1.3 steals per game for a Justices team that finished 24-2 overall. He transferred in from Varina.
Scoring 20 or more points in four of his team's final five playoff contests, Nelson helped John Marshall to its third state title since 2014. They didn't lose to a single in-state opponent.
