It's time this defense call out this offense for its incompetence

Who cares if it causes a rift at this point. Everything that would be said would 100% true.

I also want to comment on something that I've noticed: I'm not sure this offense cares enough go get better. I remember when I played (a long time ago and never at this level, but the point remains) I hated losing. When things weren't going well, I hated everything. When things aren't going well, I see too many of these offenaive players yucking it up with other players. I saw way too many smiles on faces tonight. I didn't see any defensive players smiling when they came off the field knowing they'd be right back there 4 plays later.

Finally, I sit really close to field. From that vantage point, you see a lot of what you don't see/hear on TV. (I saw a kid pull out his cell phone and check it on the field during Franklin's final year - he was a walk on not dressed out, but it still irritated me.) There has never been a bigger waste of a scholarship than Kevin McCoy. I've never seen him act like he cared. From what I heard tonight, he closed out his disappointment of a career by showing that he still doesn't care. Never has there been a bigger waste.

Disclaimer: I can deal with people that aren't talented but bust their butt. It's when people like McCoy that don't even try that really bother me.

This defense allowed a lot of yards, but came up big when it counted to force field goals. When facing an offense like TAMU, I'm not sure what more you can ask. The defense deserves better and it's time they let the offense know, publicly.
