But this group clearly needs a refresher course on the task at hand with RISP. It just seems as if there are guys trying to do more than what is required. These are phenomenally talented hitters, maybe the best ever to play for Vandy. But come on, get a bat on the ball ONCE in five RISP opportunities and this game is over. Shoot, a bunt would have won this game on several occations...anything BUT striking out.
Corbin's teams are almost always great at plate discipline. And I will say, Ro Coleman has come a long, long way in one year under Tim in that area.
