It appears there will be no radio for me this fall

After having my daily show canceled last week, and being told I could do my weekend show earlier this week, that will no longer be the case this fall. I probably shouldn't say much but I'll just acknowledge it's been a messy situation that's kept my lawyer busy this week, a situation that never should have happened and yet was completely beyond my control. I hold out hope that some common sense will prevail between now and football season, but I'm not optimistic.

That said, I'd already started to make plans to do frequent podcasts in place of that. Right now, I'm thinking I'll do something every day from about 15 to 30 minutes.

My hope is to be back on the air with the football call-in show next fall. I can basically tell you that it won't be at WNSR, and that I'll be looking for a station with better resources to support what we're trying to do. WLAC would be an obvious possibility since it carries VU games.

Again, I'd kind of hinted at this early in the week, and tried to be ready to hit the ground running once it happened. Next steps for me will be purchasing some equipment, figuring out what platforms work best, and figuring out how this whole thing works when it comes to producing podcasts. That may take me a week or two but I hope to be up and running by football season.

Thank you to everybody who has supported what I've done. Again, my goal is to bring everything back, bigger and better, a year from now.
