We blow a 16 point lead vs Dayton who turns around and gets beat at home by ut-Chattanooga. Maybe his edge to coach late game situations is not what it used to be. It seems like he loses more big games than winning them.

Yeah, he definitely needs to work on coaching WBIV to hit layups. And NC to hit free throws.

Any updates after last night's 13 point loss on things he can work on?

Scheduling to make the fans happy at Christmas rather than scheduling to make the team as good as it can be in March?

Merely scheduling them does no good if you don't win at least one of them. The best win this year is Wake Forest.

It's been an underachieving start. As per usual, some people will go along with any result because they are infatuated with our mediocre coach. That could be because he looks like their uncle or grandpa or reminds them of somebody that they used to know down at the Elks Club or whatever. OK, that's fine, but don't be shocked and defensive if people call out the downside(s) of his coaching tenure at VU.

Or it maybe that people don't like you!

Whether people on here "like me" or not is irrelevant. Actually nobody on here even knows who I am. The question is this: after starting the season ranked #16 in the nation, how do people "like" having five losses including two at home to unranked teams that Vandy was favored over by 10 points each time. There is a guy getting paid two million dollars per year to get results that he is not getting. That is what is relevant. Your attempt to change the subject has failed miserably.

So. Now that the team is 0-3 and will possibly start the SEC slate at 2-8, maybe 3-7 (was predicted to finish 2nd) how is everybody feeling about this reality? Contract extension for the coach or what?

Stallings has gotten set in his ways and lazy. His refusal to ever call a zone defense is a prime example. I could coach any opposing team and tell them to expect a constant high ball screen and actually use that to draw our 7' out to top of key.

He went zone once we were already behind by 20 today. He made no adjustments early to UK's over-pressuring and over-playing on defense.

It really is time for a change. But don't expect it to happen. Why would somebody making 2 mill/year step down when they are under no heat at all?

Yes, you are correct, some people never change.
