1) I’m guessing most of these individuals care not one iota about vu athletics, particularly the barbaric sport of football. i could be wrong, but ....

So, if vu can put 17,000 + warm bodies ( regardless of allegiance ) in our dilapidated stadium, all is good.
2) 95% of all alum neither cared about football, or had previous allegiances prior to arriving, and most have never had a positive football experience while attending vu, and they scatter back to their corners of the country/world and do not give a rat’s a** about what’s happening here.
3) absolutely zero history and tradition... no cheers, chants, ...nothing. game atmosphere sux ( and did during CJF years too , relatively speaking )
4) when vu began turning down local kids ( mba, ba, Hillsboro, etc... ) for west coast, internationals in the name of diversity, generations of local support were severed
honestly, I’m not sure what the remedy is. bridges have been irreparably burned.
