Which I think is going to happen, I have convinced myself of it with no evidence.
Anyway, it is not that we go 2-10 or 3-9. I think the powers that be are pretty keyed into what a dramatic decline in production that we went through last year, and the overwhelmed aspect of the staff. 2-10 and likely 3-10 would mean Cheese it, Mason, and I think deservedly so.
Obviously 5-6 wins would be the opposite of doomsday. It would mean Mason really has changed a lot of little things and stepped up big time. This would mean that I am personally wrong about him and I would be ever so happy to say it.
My doomsday scenario is a 4 win season, especially a 4 win but winless SEC slate, with talk about improvement (which technically it would be but only from the miserable first year) and energy and all of that. For me, I think many people who want to see improvement would find it, and we may lock in to two more years of substandard SEC recruiting and execution and REALLY jeopardize short and misterm well being of this program.
Anyway, just sharing my thoughts.
