Some more follow up on FNL:
- As previously mentioned, QB commit Ken Seals displayed solid arm strength and was very accurate throughout the entire 1-on-1 portion of camp. He also made a couple of elite throws down field. Seals told me after camp he was working on getting some targets on the fence in the class that were there, i.e. Devyn Curtis, Drew Francis, and Chase Lloyd.
- Speaking of Curtis, he didn't camp, but hung out and interacted with all the coaches and players the entire night. Myself, @JustinAngel, and @David Sisk ended up staying throughout the cookout afterwards to avoid the storms and watch the entirety of the Vandy baseball game on the big screen as well. Curtis was still there when we were leaving and that was around 9:30. Always a good sign.
- The same can also be said for 2020 targets Drew Francis and Chase Lloyd. Both hung out throughout the duration of the cookout talking to the coaching staff.
- Offensive tackle commit Ben Cox made the return trip to West End yesterday for FNL. The Virginia product has a big body, solid punch, as well as good balance and footwork throughout. Despite him being a bit under the radar, he's a really solid addition to the recruiting class.
- Long snapper commit Wesley Schelling was also present throughout the camp and cookout along with underclassmen teammates and Vanderbilt targets Kyndrich Breedlove and William Griffin.
- Despite camping with Vanderbilt on Thursday, Riverdale 2021 defensive end target Javon Nelson returned to West End last night and was hanging out at FNL. The four-star prospect already has a pile of SEC offers with Oklahoma also extending one as well.
- It came as no surprise that Kamari Lassiter received an offer from the Commodores based off his performance last night. He worked out mostly as a defensive back, but took some reps at wide receiver as well. The three-star prospect has early offers from Alabama and Tennessee.
- Bowling Green (Ky.) 2021 tight end Jordan Dingle was also an impressive underclassmen from last night's camp. At 6-foot-4, 225-pounds, he uses his size, frame, and strength well to shed and shield defenders when the ball is thrown at him. Dingle already has offers from Louisville, Kentucky, Ohio State, Purdue, South Carolina, and Virginia Tech.
- John Howse and James Stewart are some in-state underclassmen that stood out last night, both already have power five offers on their resume and wouldn't be surprised to see Vanderbilt extend offers to both eventually.
- The Franklin OL duo of Jason Amsler and Fisher Anderson were both impressive as well throughout the night. Both are tall and long and used those qualities to their advantage during 1on1's.
- Shedeur Sanders, son of Deion Sanders, was another impressive quarterback that camped last night. The 6-foot-1, 180-pound prospect already has an offer from Vanderbilt and a host of other power five schools. He has a cannon of an arm and is very accurate with both his short and deep throws as well. He had a media guy following him around filming last night, so the VandySports.com crew may end up making a cameo appearance on his mini-series, whatever channel that will be on.
