in my opinion. Feel free to comment and/or add yous. These are numbered but not in any particular order
1) Keep USC off the offensive boards. They are 14th in the country in Off. Reb %. You have to find a way to keep them off the boards
2) Keep them off the Free Throw line. SC is 1st in the country FTA/FGA. Meaning they get to the line better than anyone in the country. They also score 26% of their points from the FT line, that is 4th in the country
3) Need big a game from your post players. Kornet, Jones and Roberson all have to play well. SC has been fairly strong defensively, especially at defending the two, need to use our size as an advantage and do what other teams haven't been able to do. They haven't played a talented 7-0 all year, much less two.
4) Win the 3 ball.... This is both sides of the ball. SC has shot nearly 40% from 3, making them a top 25 team from behind the arc. You must focus on defending the 3 pt line. 7 of their 8 regular rotation players have the ability to hit the 3. SC is 201st in the country at opposing 3P%. Using number 3 as well as number 1 to create 3 opportunities will be key. Certainly need to exploit their weakness here.
