So I have 4 season tickets, section D, row 2, seats 1-4 (suck it Jimmy @kerrigjl). I take my wife and my 2 daughters to the game last Saturday (please don’t call DCS).
We get to our seats right as kickoff is about happen. I’m with my 2 year old and my wife takes my 4 year old to the bathroom because my 4 year old has never been to a place with a bathroom she has never wanted to check out.
So get to kick off and my 2 year old is already just a bitching. She is not happy. Try her iPad. Nothing. Snacks? Nope. Wife comes down with popcorn. That works for a bit, but after about 2 drives, the wife takes the 2 year old up to the breeze way as she is going to take her to the car. My 4 yeR old proclaims she wants to go too. So we go to the breeze way and sn usher comes up to us. I did not catch his name, but he was an older white guy. He looked to be in his 60s or early 70s. He asked what was wrong. The sun was really beating down on our section. And neither our kids brought their sunglasses. He offered us sun screen. He offered us hats. He offered us just about everything we could need, but the kids just didn’t want to be there. I told him that I was going to just walk them to the car. He then offered us future game tickets to football or basketball games. I told him I was a season ticket member, and that I was appreciative of the gesture but that wouldn’t be necessary. I just asked that I be allowed to come back in after walking my wife and kids to the car. He walked me to the gate and told the ticket agent the situation. I walked the wife and kids to the car, got them situated, and walked back in no issues.
So shout out to that guy. I’ll get his name on Saturday and thank him.
