I think that gives Johnny McCrary the edge in the quarterback race. With a question mark at left tackle, Vanderbilt is going to need a quarterback like McCrary who gets rid of the football in a hurry. That was one of the biggest positives of his game last year. Then you add in the fact that he has trimmed some weight, he is more mobile which takes some pressure off of the offensive line as well. From everything we've heard, McCrary is leading the QB race, but I think ensures that even more.
