Former Commodore Zach Cunningham’s career year continued in a week 15 victory over the Tennessee Titans. Cunningham recorded fourteen (ten solo, four assisted) tackles, including a goal line tackle of former Commodore teammate Khari Blasingame.

Undrafted rookie fullback Khari Blasingame once again led the way for Tennessee Titans running back Derrick Henry. The former Commodore was targeted once out of the backfield and would have had his first career touchdown as a pro but was stopped at the goal line for no gain by his former college teammate Zach Cunningham. Commodore fans have been used to seeing Vandy on Vandy crime in the MLB for years, now we are seeing it in the NFL.

Second year pro Tre Herndon recorded three (two solo, one assisted) tackles, and one pass break up in Jacksonville’s 20-16 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Veteran defensive back Casey Hayward recorded two solo tackles in a 39-10 defeat for his Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.

Stephen Weatherly recorded one solo tackle in a 39-10 victory over the Los Angeles Chargers.

New England Patriots defensive players Adam Butler and JoeJuan Williams both saw action in the New England Patriots 34-13 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals. Butler recorded three (two solo, one assisted) tackles and a pass break up in the victory, however Williams did not crack the stat sheet.

Rookie offensive lineman Justin Skule saw action in Sunday’s 29-22 defeat to the Atlanta Falcons. The rookie 5th round pick has now seen action in 13 of the 14 games of the 2019 campaign and has started nine of those contests.

Reserve center Spencer Pulley saw action in a 36-20 victory for his New York Giants on Sunday afternoon.

Oren Burks recorded no stats in the Green Bay Packers Sunday afternoon victory over the Chicago Bears.

Third year pro Trent Sherfield was not targeted and did not record any stats in the Arizona Cardinals 38-24 victory over the Cleveland Browns.

Commodore legend Jordan Matthews was resigned by the San Fransisco 49ers last Wednesday, however was inactive for the team’s 29-22 walk off defeat at the hands of the Atlanta Falcons.
