I apologize for not having this up yesterday. I was out of town for much of the day and didn't have time to put this together. Before we get in to it, check out this stat from former Commodore defensive back Donovan Sheffield:

Former Commodore Zach Cunningham’s career year continued in week 7. The Houston Texan linebacker recorded seven (six solo, one assisted) tackles in a 30-23 defeat at the hands of division rival Indianapolis.

Veteran defensive back Casey Hayward recorded five (four solo, one assisted) tackles in his return to Nashville. Hayward took the time to meet and greet with Coach Tim Corbin and the 2019 National Championship VandyBoys baseball team.

Third year pro Trent Sherfield caught his only target for four yards in Sunday’s victory over the New York Giants. Sherfield continues to have a role in the Arizona Cardinals offense.

With the trade of Jalen Ramsey, to the Los Angeles Rams, Tre Herndon has now become one of the Jacksonville Jaguars permanent starting cornerbacks. The second year pro registered a total of three (two solo, one assisted) tackles during a 27-17 victory over the Cincinnati Bengals.

New England Patriots defensive lineman Adam Butler played in Monday night’s rout of the New York Giants, however he recorded no stats. Rookie JoeJuan Williams was active for the first time in his pro career. The rookie got into the game in “garbage time” and proceeded to record one solo tackle and a pass break up.

Justin Skule once again got the start for the San Fransisco 49ers in their Sunday victory over the lowly Washington Redskins. The rookie offensive tackle has played in all six games for the 49ers and has gotten the start in the last four of those games.

Second year pro Oren Burks recorded two (one solo, one assisted) tackles in the Green Bay Packers week 7 victory over the Oakland Raiders.

Stephen Weatherly recorded one tackle in the Minnesota Vikings 42-30 victory over the Detroit Lions.

Commodore career passing leader, Kyle Shurmur was added to the Kansas City Chiefs 53 man roster on Tuesday. Shurmur, will back up Matt Moore, as the Chiefs are without league MVP Patrick Mahomes due to injury.

Commodore legend Jordan Matthews was inactive during the San Fransisco 49ers 9-0 victory over the Washington Redskins. On Tuesday the 49ers traded for Denver Broncos wide receiver Emmanuel Sanders. According to Twitter this transaction has put Matthews roster spot in jeopardy.
