D'Jery played for Prestonwood Christian this season, Julius Randle's former school. They won their fourth straight 5A State Championship in the Texas private school division, known as TAPPS. D'Jery was named first team All State in 5A. Was also first team All District and was named the District defensive player of the year. I do not think there are just tons of schools in each district in TAPPS. But there are quite a few across the state. So these were nice honors.
