In the grand scheme of things athletes probably shouldn't concern themselves much with records and be focused on the game and records will come. That said the run rule in the SEC prevented Parker Nolan from at bats (at least one) and we fans love records and stats especially in baseball.
I'm wondering what might have happened if they play on. Also the 15 rbi ncaa record was probably safe as 5 more runs to break and 4 more to tie would have been more than phenomenal.
All that said to state that his 11 rbis in a 7 inning game might probably is an ncaa record for Parker Nolan, but maybe not....
Any statistics gurus out there have any info on this? How difficult would it be to check it?
