As a fellow alum I’m sorry that you are “embarrassed” about the strategic plan. I wanted to share that I have consistently stated that this plan would simply chart the strategic direction and priorities. The action steps are forthcoming and will be shared as they are developed. It allows our staff to speak common language and make decisions based on the high priorities. It also encourages internal and external accountability. That’s important to me because I want to be as transparent as possible and I too have high expectations for us.
If you are interested in talking more, I would be happy to. In the end, I believe we are all committed to providing the best experience possible for our student-athletes. And I hope alums like you and I will also be proud of what we do.
