First, some background on my coming weeks: My work at Blue Ribbon is probably about to take me into the 60-hour workweek (just for that alone) territory between now and the end of September. That means I'm going to have to manage my time exceptionally well between that and running the site. For that reason, I ask that everyone stay on their best board behavior--stay out of needless political squabbles, etc., please.
As fall as fall camp coverage goes, I'll continue to be locked in on that as best I can in the coming weeks. Again, we don't have access and so it's dependent on my ability to get in touch with folks who can get me good info as to what's happening.
I will soon be starting positional previews for each position group. Here's the schedule I have planned:
Monday, Sept. 14: quarterbacks
Tuesday, Sept. 15: running backs
Wednesday, Sept. 16: tight ends
Thursday, Sept. 17: wide receivers
Friday, Sept. 18: offensive line
Monday, Sept. 21: linebackers
Tuesday, Sept. 22: safeties
Wednesday, Sept. 23: cornerbacks
Thursday, Sept. 24: defensive line
As for podcasts, I plan to do two a week between now and the start of football. Guest will probably vary every week.
When the season starts, here's what I'm planning:
Mondays: Mitch Light podcast, and our weekly 3-2-1 feature
Tuesdays: Norman Jordan podcast, press conference coverage, (and, I'll be on George Plaster's show at 2:20 every day for a little bonus coverage)
Wednesdays: Offensive snap counts and notes, Kevin Ingram podcast
Thursdays: Defensive snap counts and notes, Seabass podcast
Fridays: George Plaster podcast
My caveat for all this is that I've got to find a second job outside the site to pay the bills and that's going to be something I'll turn my search to in October. I've always had to do something in addition to running the site and so thought that's not totally new for me, it's hard to know what that looks like until I land that next opportunity. I just put that out there to say that this is what I'm hoping to deliver but that's going to be a little bit of a wild card for me starting later in the fall.
Thanks for your support of the site and what we do.
