With Vanderbilt 2-3 on the season after Saturday's win, we get some reactions from some of the current Commodore commitments in the 2016 class about Vanderbilt's progress so far this season.

"I think it's a great win (MTSU) going into a bye week to be able to carry that momentum into SC. Like CDM said...'It was an ugly win but it was a win'. As a player, you learn a lot about yourself during ugly wins."

Tyler Cockrell, TE, Allatoona (Ga.)
"The touchdown in the fourth was very impressive!" - regarding the MTSU win.

Sam Brodner, RB, Glenbard West (Ill.)
"They're doing really well so far! I'm excited to see how much they'll grow this season as a unit."

Frank Coppet, CB, St. Thomas Aquinas (Fla.)
"The defense is looking really good. The offense is looking a little shaky right now but both side of the ball can still improve on things. Im looking forward to a couple of the games coming up in the future."

Drew Birchmeier, DT, Cosby (Va.)
