Editor's Note: To appreciate this story one must have viewed TDR Episode #318 recorded last week in Trevor and Will's basement.

After finally being located and secured after his week of fun, Ed hopped aboard a horse trailer and went immediately to California where his girlfriend suggested he go.
Upon arrival, he was met by a Hollywood agent who once had Lassie, Trigger, Tigger, Grizzly Ben, Hootch and Benji as clients, and he quickly signed Ed to a long-term contract for CBS.
Given that zebras can live 30-40 years (1/2 that in the wild due to lions and such) Ed was signed to a 25 years exclusive contract to include numerous appearances as a guest of Stephen Colbert and occasionally 60 Minutes.

He was quickly cast in the role of Mr. Ed with Matt Groening as Executive Producer. It will be a remake of the 60's TV hit, "Mr. Ed", the talking horse and his owner, Wilbur.
This will be Groening's first live action production and will combine the wit, humor, and satire of "The Simpsons" with all the drama of "Law and Order: SVU."

Ed is expected to crack joke after joke at the expense of his owner, Wilbur Bynum, aka @WillByrum , famed Nashville podcast host to many wonderful guests who talk Vandy sports to include a Russian spy @Anchordown0714 , several suspicious lawyers @Bfromang , and a forever-college-student, all the while Ed is chasing down sexual offenders. To save time (it's only a 30 minute sitcom) they will skip the trial part of the show by allowing Ed to stomp and kick to death the perpetrator of the assault while the victim or victims of the assault look on and cheer.
The pilot episode, currently in rewrite, involves a young man at a bar who gets groped by a woman half his age who probably had a fake ID to get in the bar. To assist with the screenplay, Groening has brought in as a consultant, famed Nashville podcaster @TrevorHulan who is very familiar with this subject, and who once starred in the hit show "Dr. Trevor, no MD."

The new show, tentatively entitled "Mr. Ed, D'oh!" is expected to be ready to be a summer replacement for the terrible CBS docudrama "Meet the Neighbors: Animal Minds and Life in a More-than-Human World."

Meanwhile, Dr. Trevor will return to the Nashville bar scene and see if he can come up with any more story lines for future episodes. It's a tough job, but somebody has to sacrifice their innocence and do it, although we are not sure how many times can sacrifice their innocent without being suspicious of them. In addition, Wilbur will just keep-on-keeping-on and regularly host his gigantically popular weekly podcast, TDR, now known as "The Doctor Report" due to Dr. Trevor almost being a doctor.....maybe....someday.
