If we beat State on Wednesday, I believe we are virtually assured of the 7th seed in the SEC Tourney. We are tied with Alabama & Florida right now and UT is one game back. We have no chance of getting the 6th seed and we control the tie-breaker with Bama, of course. Bama plays Ole Miss & @A&M this week and Florida has two tough games (A&M & @UK). UT is tanking.
SEC Tourney stuff: The 7th seed plays the 10th seed (probably UT!!!) next Thursday at 6:00 pm. The winner of #7 vs. #10 gets the #2 seed (probably Arkansas) Friday at 6:00. I would love to take 2 from UT this year.
As an added Tourney bonus, if we maintain the 7th seed, the always annoying UK fans would be in the opposite side of the bracket, making for a more enjoyable tourney experience for us normal people.
We need some Black & Gold at the Tourney.
