Coaches and Players learning about each other. . . .

Upperclassmen trying to unlearn old system and learn new system - - takes time.

Team adjusting to absence of best penetrator/PG/best defender and All-Sec Center who shot 55% from the floor. . . .

First few games . . . 4 players not playing their best position - - Kornet a 4 playing the 5; Roberson a 3 playing the 4; MFD a 3 playing the 2; and Riley a 2 playing the 1.

Last couple of games, 2 players back to their most natural position . . . MFD back at the 3 and Riley back at the 2 . . . due to Willis' emergence.

Most pleasant surprise . . . Willis; a huge plus that he has adapted to the Point position on the offensive end of the floor (clearly, our best option at Point even though most did not project him as a Point guard; more impressive . . . that he is a true frosh. While he's got a long ways to go on D, that's to be expected. [That "prayer" 3 last night did help to stem the major bleeding process at the beginning of the 2nd Half last night.] I worry that he will get worn down (He needs a year or two in the weight room.) once we get into conference play and that will begin to show up via turnovers.

Hopeful offensive sign . . . LaChance . . . confidence back and stroke back (although, at the 2 position, we are really compromised on D).

Roberson . . . are some of his problems, not only related to adapting to the new offense, e.g., rushing to start a drive, but is he pressing because he thinks he has to do more this year on the offensive end?

MFD . . . will he stay focused and "on-point" from a CBD perspective the rest of the season?

Real worried about the bench . . . will someone emerge out of their slumps to date . . . Justice, Toye?

Cressler is Cressler.

Baptiste has potential but he is very raw; he just needs to play, but can he stay on the floor long enough to gain that needed experience due to fouls or bone head moves?

Brown . . . hopeful that he will progress and about 2/3 of the way through the season begin to emerge as a solid 10-12 minute contributor.

Kornet . . . health and CBD's ability to find a way for Luke to maximize his contribution.
