Around 20% of our eligible players for next year have hit the portal. Is this happening to other schools? I know we all hope we can upgrade at these spots, but we are having entire position groups (i.e. QB, WR) transfer. We at least needed a few of these guys for depth.
Hoping there is a light at the end of the tunnel and some surprises with this new commitment to NIL, but this should have happened 2 years ago. We are behind due to the silly notion of focusing almost exclusively on trying to develop High School players while the rest of the college football adapted to portal usage. Bummer.
