Sorry, I didn't mean for this to be a basketball-centric day, it's just that I've been asked to write a VU preview for another site and part of what I'm doing is a schedule analysis.
Potential NCAA Tournament teams on the schedule; I've seen all these teams listed somewhere in mock NCAA brackets:
Texas
Dayton
Baylor
Purdue
LSU
Kentucky (twice)
Florida (twice)
Texas A&M (twice)
VU will likely play Indiana, whom everyone has in, in Maui.
Kansas will be in the NCAAs, and is a possibility in Maui.
I have seen Georgia and Mississippi State listed in the first few teams out of the field.
There's also the chance that a Gardner-Webb or Stony Brook or Wofford could make it.
So VU could literally have half its games against NCAA Tournament teams.
