In some ways I am even more unsure of where we are. Bottom line, we lost and in that sense, that's all that matters. I want to put it on the players, but it could also be on the coaches? Confused:
However, what I witnessed last year was so indescribably bad it is simply impossible to NOT compare last year vs last night. So here is my attempt at perspective:
1] We lost to a team from a non Big-5 conference. At home. A good team but certainly not anywhere great.
2] We likely left 24pts on the board.
3] Turnovers as bad as last year
4] Offense much better than last year
5] Defense much better than last year
6] Special Teams looked the same
7] Only a few bad offensive plays
8] OL couldn't bully WKU. SEC DLs are much better.
