About our offense with Beck

It sputtered in the second half of the season, no one can deny that.

But, for all of you giving up on Beck and his scheme, saying that the SEC caught on to it, I think that you're wrong.

What the SEC caught on to was the limitations of our offensive personnel. We had a QB that was pretty amazing, and a solid TE. That's it.

You can only scheme around lack of talent for so long before it bites you in the ass.

We simply don't have SEC offensive skill players at all. If we had a real threat at WR and RB to go with Pavia and Stowers, I think this offense would have been unstoppable. But, defenses only had to worry about two players, and that makes it easier to defend.

If we can get a Pavia replacement, 2 WR's and a RB with speed, this offense can be good again next year, AND for an entire year instead of just half a season.

Just my opinion.
