Due to the rain delay from the first game the second game started about an hour after the first game ended instead of the scheduled 7 PM start. If everything went as planned VU would have had more than an how to get on the field, warm up, take BP, field, etc... Meanwhile Clemson had just played a 9-inning game and was already to go. That is not the reason why VU lost but do people think that Clemson got a slight advantage in terms of being ready to play due to the short turn around time of the games?
