It has come to my attention that @Trevor Hulan has turned into a New York Knicks fan during these NBA playoffs…an unfortunate turn of events.
Besides the obvious fact that Aaron Nesmith is playing for the Pacers and is crushing it, here’s a persuasion bomb to convince Hacksquat that he should cease and desist from this recent rooting interest.
As an attorney trained in the art of advocacy, I have no choice but to lay out a compelling case that I know will bug the crap out of @Trevor Hulan.
That case is former Kentucky Wildcats star Karl-Anthony Towns, who is one of the most celebrated Big Blue Nation stars of late in today’s NBA. He may have been a one and done but Kentucky basketball fans, some of the worst people on the face of the earth, claim him as their own and will always claim him.
Every time KAT hits a three, Ashley Judd does cartwheels and gets closer and closer to booking courtside seats at MSG where she will wear her KAT Kentucky jersey for a series of closeups during the game. And when she attends, they will show her during every single quarter.
Every time, KAT makes a layup or dunk, bars throughout the state of Kentucky and pockets of Nashville erupt into chants of “Go Big Blue” and “C-A-T-S, CATS, CATS, CATS!” I know how much you hate this chant.
Every time, KAT blocks a shot and gobbles up over 10 rebounds, Kentucky Sports Radio’s Matt Jones beams with glee, purchases multiple tissue boxes and hand lotion, and prepares for his next radio segment where he talks about how Kentucky was inspired by KAT’s performances and went out and recruited the best EVER recruiting class and how THIS class puts all of Wildcat classes to shame.
Think deeply on this @Trevor Hulan. You know it in your heart of hearts that I am right. Step out of the darkness and stop glazing a team who has a star who is still wholly embraced by an awful basketball ENEMY.
