OT: what posts have made you laugh the hardest on here?

There’s so many. For some reason the one that comes to mind is when someone posted his dog was leaning against his house causing it to move, which for whatever reason caught my attention so much I had to ask and he had meant to say “couch” not house. Zero reason this should have made me laugh the way it did which is why I post this. There’s got to have been better ones.

pitching coach ?

I read the criticism of Coach Baxter. I too am puzzled by the approach we seem to have at the plate. We take so many pitches We seem to be hitting with 2 strikes all the time. We seem to watch a lot of third strikes go by. But before I pile on, I'll show my ignorance here. Just what is the role of a hitting coach? What does he teach? How much influence does he have on a player's performance? Appreciate your thoughts.

In the last three road series

VU has been competitive in 3 games (1 against TN, 2 against Alabama, 0 against Florida).

Today’s score was 6-2, so you could be tempted to think they were competitive in this game. Yet, after the first inning, anyone who’s been paying attention knew that with the ineptness of the batters, VU was already beat. The players certainly performed in such a way that they were resigned to losing.

Giving up 6 runs in a Sunday game for most teams in the league would lead them to believe that they would have a good shot at winning. Not the case with Vanderbilt.

The most runs they’ve scored in one game over this 9 game road stretch on the road in the league is 5, and that was in a game in which they were already way behind and had no real shot at winning.

The approach at the plate is like a deer in the headlights. Really inexcusable how bad they are against anyone on the mound.
