Vanderbilt has 8 high school commitments to date. Most all other SEC schools have over 20 commitments. What is going on? It appears most good prospects are now committed to other schools. Are we giving up on recruiting high school players and going to go all out on the portal?

“VANDERBILT: Avoided let down. QB worked the mesh well. Hit some nice quick throws. OL missed a few blitz pick ups. Struggled with 2nd level. Lot of LB run thru. 2 good with head fakes. Nice accuracy on the move. Did miss on a few high % balls. 28 grinded. Extra hats came down quick on them. 9 had a huge game. Based on pressure needed a few more shot plays. Really nice job setting up throwbacks for later in game. Lot of quick throws off play action the def had to adjust to. Formations looked like they threw them off. 2nd level got pushed some. Wildcat was a problem. Had extra blockers to manage. 24 played well. 98 a problem. 94 got going some. Had struggles but got it figured out. One win away from a bowl with another massive opportunity at home up next. 2nd 5-2 start the last 40 years. 4-0 at home for 1st time since 1982”

I don’t care if we dominate the 4th quarter, this has been a pitiful performance. This opponent sucks ; not even a decent team at their level . Kent State almost beat them and we are fighting for our lives. No excuse for not being ready.

2 diehard Vandy fans

at Auburn . A tall order on the road at Jordan Hare but doable. Our remaining schedule is absolutely brutal. Three top ten teams in Texas, UT, and LSU. South Carolina can hang with top team teams. We may have a shot against them , but the reality is they’re good. That leaves only Auburn as a beatable opponent to get us to 6 and 6 . We need to get healthy .

First off it’s always a great blessing to attend Vandy sporting events. Living in Cookeville (roughly an hour and a half away) makes it a bit more difficult than if I was one of the locals. As many of you know I hadn’t stepped foot into The Bank since the 2019 UNLV game. I left that game mad at everyone except the players and the fans. I chose to only watch football on TV, but still attend MBB games and VandyBoys games in person. This season there’s definitely a new vibe around the football program. I sensed it as soon as I walked from the parking garage to Vandyville and especially when I got into the stadium. The section (F) that I was in was really engaged in the game, but honestly the entire stadium was. I will definitely be heading down for another game in 2025!!

The ultimate dream one day would be to get closer to or even in Nashville and be able to become a football, MBB, and VandyBoys season ticket holder. I cherish every moment I get to spend in Memorial, Hawkins, and The Bank!!

Is out as OC at Utah. They are 95th in offense this season after finishing 98th in offense last season. Perhaps he really wasnt that good after all? He may have just looked ok because of the crapshow we had on defense in comparison.

I ran into Chancellor DD yesterday at Star Walk and introduced myself to him.I was blown away when he said "oh man from the podcast,I love to listen keep doing what your doing".I don't bring this up to make anything whatsoever about me,rather how engaged our leader actually is.It says to me that this actually matters to him and I found that to be a very encouraging thing.Chris you have built a great community here over the years,love being a part of it and yes I am definitely in to do a podcast this week if you want.
