Here's the lineup:

Stack wants to leave. He knows he cant win here. The signs of him wanting out have been there for a while. (Odd comments, little effort, no prioritization on winning).

Stack has all the leverage. He and his agent know this. I presume he has a top shelf agent. The same guy who took us to the cleaners last year.

The school doesn't want to part ways with 25M until they have to. They want to see all the data points including the SEC tourney in Nashville.

The leverage will get highest for Stack a week or so after the SEC tourney.

Nothing is happening today or next week.

Stack quits some time after the season.

IF they bring Stack back, attendance will be at an all time low. (I would be interested how much people think season ticket sales will drop off.)

Memorial magic was a huge home court advantage and a ton of fun for the players and coaches. It not only helped us win but was a big positive from a recruiting standpoint.

Fell to LSU by 4 tonight. Were down 21 with about 4 to go but made an impressive run to cut it to as low as 3 in the final minute.

I'm not a parent of one of the basketball players, but I feel like one. It has been my joy and honor to sit with the players' families for a number of years. This year has been particularly hard for "us." I can count on my fingers the number of opportunities we have had to celebrate a victory. Yesterday was one of those times, and for it to be on Senior Day made it extra special.
After the "magical" ending, we celebrated with hugs, fist bumps, and high fives. Not a single "damnit." For a glorious moment we didn't worry about coaches or playing time or substitution patterns or timeouts. No, we got to see "our" sons revel in a victory, and we were very, very happy.

And it all revolves around Candice. She doesn’t want egg on her face with regard to the extension. I think there is NIL “pool” money that she will redirect to Stackhouse. I don’t think the donors will support him as they see him for what he is. Candice is hoping she can somehow redirect enough NIL $ to him to have a breakthrough year and she won’t have to answer questions like she did for Chris a few years ago on the facilities press conference when she had the sniffles and facial contortions.

As we all await the decision which will make us either very happy or very angry, I thought I would challenge everyone to list a few positive things that you feel occurred this season. Anything is fair game, and you can repeat something that has already been mentioned. I'll start:
1. Ezra Manjon---obviously. Will go down as one of the most talented, most popular and most respected players of recent times.
2. Great effort every time out---so many reasons not to give 100 percent but every player seemed to go all out every night until they simply ran out gas.
3. Yes, the Florida game---just so happy for all the players.
4. The Spirit of Gold Band---not just good music but always "into the game", sometimes the only people in the gym who were.

Let’s see, and if you vote for CSL or CDD, we f you don’t mind post you think they will retain or fire Stack (I should of put separate categories for trust and distrust assuming most think he should be fired).

Says in an article this morning that Louisville, Stanford, and Vandy are the most likely high majors to fire their coach. This could be coming from a place of common sense rather than him actually knowing something, but interesting nevertheless

We get Arkansas in the first game on Wednesday and if we win that we get South Carolina in the second game on Thursday afternoon. I have not been to one in years. Is anyone going?

So Stack wasn’t on the court for the senior day festivities. And my only thought for this is due to not wanting it ruined by boos towards stack. Which is understandable.

But if you know your coach can’t be out on the floor for senior day because the players might catch some stray boos directed towards your 5 year failing head coach, what the F more do you need to see to know that a change is necessary?

The only way this is ever worth it is if it results in CSL getting fired as AD and moved to another role in the school outside of McGugin. Because she is challenging Houlihan for most incompetent AD in Vanderbilt history.

Like I’m sure the scouting report said this big girl ain’t a threat from 3 but my god the lack of situational awareness is breath taking
