Right now, Vandy is tied with LSU for the #5 seed. Obviously, a series win over LSU will secure that seed. The only way to catch #4 seed Auburn is to sweep LSU and hope UK sweeps Auburn in Lexington. I can see Vandy sweeping LSU. However, UK will need another miracle similar to the UT series win. I seriously doubt that will happen, but hey, who knows. Anything can happen in baseball. No one thought Mizzou had a snowball's chance in hell of beating Miss St in Starkville last season, but that's exactly what they did. Mizzou won 15 games the entire season and two of wins were against State.
Speaking of State, the Bulldogs are reeling. They've lost 10 of the last 11, and 8 consecutive conference games. State's offense seems to be okay, but their pitching is just awful right now. They are currently 13th in the conference, but they lost the series to last place Mizzou (again). State ends the season hosting UT, so it's possible State gets swept and finishes last in the standings (if Mizzou can win a game at UGA next week).
